Extracts from Interim Travel Plan: Bus Route Details
An Interim Travel Plan has been produced for the proposals, in which it is stated that "Barratt Homes are committed to the principles of sustainable development, and seek to influence the travel choices of residents on site with the implementation of a Full TP. This Interim TP sets out the principles and range of measures which are likely to form part of the final plan. In accordance with local and national policies to protect and enhance the environment, and to encourage sustainable development and travel patterns, the report reviews the current situation in the vicinity of the development site and proposes measures to encourage accessibility via a choice of transport modes."

Parking Plan
For a development of 294 units, there are 517 car parking spaces. This comprises of: 25 garages, 21 integrals, 431 spaces and 40 visitor spaces.
Parking Strategy
North and South areas of Public Open Space
The proposed development includes complementary public open spaces which do not repeat the facilities already present in the nearby Blakelaw Park (a large public park with very large mown grass areas for informal ball games as well as 6 grass sports pitches). While the proposed open spaces will be simple and informal, they are proposed to include additional enhancements such as footpath routes. Subtle features such as gentle earth mounding, timber post and log features and natural stone boulders set into soft landscape areas will be included to provide opportunities for natural play and imaginative play.
Boundary Treatment Plan
Bin storage will be on plot with an adequate and hard landscaped route from any side or rear storage areas to the street
Due to the nature of this housing scheme, all external storage and amenity space will be provided on plot. All refuse collections will be from adoptable highways.
